3 words - FREE RANGE MONKEYS!!! And the only place in europe that has free range monkeys at that! This is such an interesting place because it is connected to spain but owned by the UK. Everyone here speaks spanish, but the currency is UK money and it's so much more expensive the second you cross the border so everyone shops in spain which remindes me of the mexico / san diego border. It is a beautiful place though and an easy day trip from Malaga, Spain. I highly recommend it and you get a crazy good view, a mixed cultural experience, you get to hangout with monkeys and so much more! You can even use this and the gateaway to morocco or do a day trip here from morocco!
